Available for Adoption

Available for Adoption

If you live in the Chicago area, I highly recommend the Hinsdale Humane Society as THE place to get your next best friend. I got to know the wonderful people there when I was in search of a best friend, and actually became involved in their fostering program. What an experience! The first friend that they brought over was a terrier-mix named Tyler. The moment he jumped out of their car, I fell instantly in love with Tyler! He was everything that I was looking for in a friend and companion. Not much later, they asked me to foster an American Eskimo named Freddie, and I couldn't resist him either. While I did try to make a good show of it, I REALLY wanted to adopt Tyler, so I made the arrangement. Freddie had some issues to work out, being frightened and terribly distressed from a puppy mill that he and Tyler were forced into in Kentucky. Tyler and Freddie were buddies, and I knew that I could not separate them, but I did try. After a couple of showings, my heart told me that Freddie (FRED to me) really needed to be with Tyler and me, so I adopted him, too. Long story short, it was the best decision I could have ever made. Today, we are one happy family, and both dogs are doing great! check out the Hinsdale Humane Society--you will not be disappointed.
